If you handed me a giant tub of peanut butter (all natural, of course), and told me to eat it all, the challenge would be accepted. I LOVE peanut butter, almond butter, any nut butter. But peanut butter is special because it goes so well with one of my other favorite things: chocolate. So for those of you craving a little chocolate peanut butter magic, but without the high processed, sugar-laden candy, check out this recipe. P.S. You can even eat it for breakfast (like I did this morning!)
Ingredients
- 2 Tbs Chia seeds
- 1/4 cup rolled oats (these are optional, instead you could sub another tbs of chia)
- 1 tbs raw chocolate cacao powder
- 1-2 tbs all natural peanut butter
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- Coconut, peanuts, granola, more peanut butter, bananas to garnish—your choice
Directions
- Combine all ingredients together in a bowl or mason jar
- Whisk to really mix in the cacao powder, sometimes it takes a little muscle to get it incorporated
- Cover and let sit 2-3 hours if you want to eat it soon or overnight if you’re eating for breakfast
- Enjoy the rich, peanut buttery goodness!
