Proyo Chocolate Strawberry Shake

What’s better than froyo? Froyo with 20 grams of protein.

The people at ProYo have managed to make a creamy protein treat that doesn’t taste gritty or fake, like a lot of other protein-infused frozen treats on the market. ProYo is not only full of protein, but also contains probiotics, no artificial flavoring or preservatives, and is low fat, gluten, and soy-free. Can it get any better than that?

ProYo is great for an easy grab-and-go post-workout treat or a simple solution for when you’re craving something sweet. At only 140 calories per pop, this is a nutritious option for any wellness fanatic.

Another benefit of ProYo? Its convenience in smoothies, shakes, or breakfast bowls. I decided to experiment and used the Dutch Chocolate flavor to create a rich ProYo Chocolate Strawberry Shake, perfect for dessert (or breakfast!). All you need are the five simple ingredients below and you’re ready to get started.

Ingredients

  • 1 Dutch Chocolate ProYo Pop
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 4 medium-sized strawberries
  • 1 tbs cacao powder (for extra chocolatey flavor)
  • Handful of ice

Directions

  • In a blender, combine all ingredients.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy or top with your favorite fruit and nuts for a healthy smoothie bowl.
