Smoothies are an amazing breakfast. They’re versatile, healthy, and perfect for busy mornings. Although I do love smoothies, I’ve always preferred sitting down and eating meals with utensils. I tend to find that drinking my meal never satisfies me as much as I think it will. That’s why this recipe is PERFECT for those of you who feel the same way. It’s a smoothie…in a bowl!
Eat this beautiful breakfast with a spoon and top it with whatever you want. My recipe is below, but there are so many different creations to be made, all with unique ingredients.
Ingredients
- One packet of Aloha’s The Daily Good powdered green juice
- 1/2 cup frozen peaches
- 1/2 cup frozen rasberries
- 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbs shredded unsweetened coconut
- Handful of almonds, hemp seeds, fresh diced fruit, dried fruit, etc
Directions
- Blend together the peaches, raspberries, greek yogurt, green juice, yogurt, and water
- Pour mixture into a bowl
- Toast the oats and coconut together in a toaster oven for about 5 minutes, until coconut is golden brown and oats are crunchy
- Place oats and coconut on top of bowl. Add whatever ingredients on top that you want. I used dried apricot, hemp seeds, almonds, and a couple of frozen banana slices.
- Eat your smoothie and be satisfied 🙂
